How we handle your data

This page describes exactly what this website does. It is written to be accurate rather than comprehensive — see the note at the end.

If you subscribe to email updates

We store the address you give us, the page you subscribed from, and the date. It is kept in Microsoft Azure storage in the United States, and a copy is held by Brevo, the service that sends the mail.

We use it to send occasional updates about this property and for nothing else. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone beyond Brevo. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops it permanently.

While you read the site

We count page views so we know which pages are worth keeping. For each view we record the page, where you arrived from, whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer, and roughly how long you stayed.

We do not store your IP address. To tell one visitor from another without identifying anyone, your address is combined with today's date and a secret, and irreversibly hashed. The result groups your visits within a single day and is meaningless the next. It cannot be turned back into an address, and it is not linked to your email even if you have subscribed.

There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. None of this happens unless you press Accept on the banner, and if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal we neither ask nor record.

We set no cookies. Your answer to the banner is kept in your own browser's local storage, which means it is never sent to us and cannot be read by anyone else.

Booking

The booking and enquiry form is provided by OwnerRez and runs inside a frame on the availability page. Anything you type into it goes to OwnerRez under their terms, not ours, and payment is handled entirely by them — card details never reach this site.

Having your data removed

Email us and we will delete your address from both our storage and Brevo. Analytics records cannot be traced back to an individual, so there is nothing there to remove.
